Our mission is to provide access to secondary and senior secondary education to learners from deprived and disadvantaged groups—including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, socially and educationally marginalized communities, and other culturally, economically, or geographically underprivileged sections of society—who are unable to pursue education through the conventional system.
We are committed to delivering high-quality educational services to government bodies and other organizations in the field of education, especially school education. Our focus is on the expansion and strengthening of open and distance learning systems, as well as the development of a strong vocational and continuing education curriculum to prepare learners for meaningful employment and professional growth.
We strive to provide a supportive and flexible teaching-learning environment that empowers learners to gain knowledge with dignity and confidence. Our system enables individualized study at flexible locations and timeframes, accommodating diverse needs and life situations.
We aim to identify and respond to the educational needs of children, youth, and adults who are not served by the formal schooling system, and to establish study and academic centers to support them effectively.
Through open and distance learning modes, we offer opportunities for school education up to the pre-degree level and are dedicated to setting and enhancing educational standards in Uttarakhand Board of Open Schooling.
Furthermore, we seek to offer professional guidance and support to government agencies and related institutions to promote the growth and development of open and distance school education, and to design relevant vocational and continuing education curricula that prepare learners for the world of work.
